Hello peeps!
I'm due to purchase my first ever twin and have decided on a Falco. I'm still undecided over 2 models
2000 with 15k on the clocks at £3000
2004 with 4.4k on the clocks at £4200, comes with Akra carbon cans.
Money is an issue, had £3500 stashed,, but will stretch if can justify the extra spend.
Are there any major difference between the 2000 and 2004 models?
Would the Falco withstand winter commuting?
Appreciate any input.

Have responded to your email - I sold a 2005 Red/Black Falco earlier in the year with only 2500 miles and approx 4 months old for £4K - I advertised it twice on Ebay and that's the most I got offered for it (and that was in sunny August)- it's a buyers market right now with nothing shifting and dealers desperate to get rid of stock - bide your time and be very tough on the price - there are plenty around and you should pick up a 2004 bike with 4K on clock for between £3500 and £4000 - I would'nt be wanting to pay more than £2500 for a 2000 model with 15K - either way you'll get a lot of bike for the money - it's the model aprilia hated making because it cost them almost as much to make as an RSV but due to market trends always sold for a lot less !
