Hello Gents, on a 2017 RSV4RR must we use Iridium NGK Spark Plugs to replace what is on there or it is ok to use standard NGK spark plugs? I mean is it just a matter of personal preference or the bike system requires Iridium ones to run as it should?
Cheers mates.

From what I have read particularly for track use non iridium plugs don’t last long but for the road probably much less so. On the later 1100 versions apparently piston clearance comes into play and the specific iridium plugs Aprilia recommends has a bull nose tip that needs to be used. Whichever you use I would stick to the plug models given in the manual
