Oil can symbol , service and spanner on dash

   All showed up today, first Service came up so turned off and restarted all ok rode it no problem then it came on again with oil can showing after starting up after fuel stop so shut down and checked oil level ( only changed in April)  so thought I would reset service code and it was all good, then noticed a spanner shape on next to speedometer, so home I  went and looked through hand book ,didn’t find the answer so went to bike and wriggled the oil psi switch wire about on the O/P switch, then reset all the dash memories I could find , started up and everything is ok  , haven’t rode it yet as I have had a few ales , but looks promising not like the weather .

	Certainly sounds an electrical gremlin. Oil pressure switch faults throw up all sorts of misbehaviour. They are cheap around £20 tops so if the wires are all sound it maybe worth just changing the switch unless you can borrow one off a someone with the same bike if you’ve a local? I had similar but luckily four different aprilias to take a switch off to try.

	Not had chance to get out on it to try yet but was thinking oil psi switch myself if still plays up , cheers.
