Hi guy I've a tinny noise coming from my rsvr gen2 when running. It's not always heard but when running you can just hear it now and then. Anybody have any ideas. It was a wee bit louder last night but ok this morning?

You need to be more specific for the boys to help you
Where is it coming from,,,,top of engine ,bottom of engine Is it constant or rise and fall with revs Only happens when hot or cold |

Check the other side of the bike to see if your mate is there, opening cans of beer!!
  Sorry couldn't resist!  Does it happen at certain rpm, or at idle, or after a long run when everything's hot etc etc? If not engine related, could be as simple as a spring on the exhaust or a joint etc vibrating at a certain frequency of revs etc. Next time you have the fairings off give everything a wiggle, check tightness etc. If you know the area the noise is coming from, give things a tap, investigate etc, see if you can replicate the noise. |
