Hi all,on the clutch master cylinder I see there's a contact point where the lever touches a small metal strip which in turn then pushes in a small button type thing which is plugged into the loom, what exactly dose this do ? Dose it stop you starting the bike with the clutch out ?

Saddly I cant test it because I've removed the clutch slave and master as I'm fitting new ones, I've also sliced of the original button thing because I'm planning on fitting a new master from the Gen 1 millie so the sensor button type thing is slightly different

Yeah, on a Gen1 it's a microswitch and you're right it's the engine cut-out for in-gear starting.
