Hi everyone!  Handshake

Was told to introduce myself and stick some pics up of the bike.

I've been a Mille enthusiast for many years now and although I read and watch the forums regularly, I very seldom post anything.
The bike has had more or less all the common mods done and some Gucci parts fitted.
Absolutely love this bike for the way it handles and that engine!!! Sounds and feels amazing, but then you don't need me to tell you that  Embarrassed

I'm from Northern Ireland and admit to being a fair weather rider only. If there is any sign of precipitation the bike doesn't go over the door. In fact I shut my 'riding door' from about October through until April lol.

I have a few pics in a photobucket file, close-ups and that.  Feel free to have gander.  Smile

Took these pics below last year on MOT day. Rear indicators and slab numberplate are fitted for the test only.

Over the winter I replaced the rear tail unit with a carbon fibre jobbie with new decals from Imageworks and also stuck in a gear indicator.
Rebuilt the front calipers with new pistons and seals and fitted Stahlbus bleeders all round which make life sooooo easy, especially in keeping the clutch air free.

Syncrotech Quickshifter next (thanks RedRatBike for setting up the discount) and new front discs are on the list for this year.

Ha ha. Red beat me to it. I was about to ask about the engine designation too. Recognise the bike from AF1 forum. Very smart. Tigcraft exhaust is a particular highlight. Full system?

Nice to see another in my neck of the woods. Where abouts are you? I'm in Saintfield.

Sweeeeeet! Really clean, well sorted and stunning example of the best Mille Aprilia made! The attention to detail is quite jaw dropping, the more you look, the more you see. Where did you get the carbon seat unit? Very nice ride buddy, welcome Thumbs Up

I love my bike. When I'm having a tinker in the garage, i sit on a stool with a beer and the i pod on, and gaze at my bike with excitement. Sometimes when nobody is looking, i do a little dance. Then Gary comes along with this specimen and in comparison makes my bike look like a pile of poo Angry

It's a bog standard RP I'm afraid. Although there is a few Eddy parts lurking about in there.

I'm over in Newtownabbey. Do you know Rathcoole? Top end of that area just below Carnmoney Hill.

I picked it up off ebay. Came up as a BIN and I was lucky enough to snap it up within minutes of it being listed. Hunted/waited a long time for that tail. There's not too many parts on the bike I've paid full price for. Just waited over the years until someone puts them up.........at the right price of course Tongue

I'm the same eejit Cheesy! How's it going buddy? I can remember having a few chats with you many years ago Big smile

You were hoovering up all the bits to build another Mille IIRC?

Hahaha, that did make me laugh mate. LOL

I love all these bikes and I love to see everybody elses. Still get excited when I see one out and about when driving etc. Sound of them is unmistakable even against other twins. I've always thought the V60 as opposed to the V90 sounded that little bit sweeter.

Aye, I know Newtownabbey. My bike used to live up there. The fella who bought it new is from up that way. Good to know there is a few Milles kicking about these parts. You rarely see them.

Yes Nickyboy, the full Tigcraft System. Was lucky enough (again) to pick it up several years ago.

Yeah, I swapped out the original Ti sleeve for the shorter carbon sleeve when I had it apart for repacking. Sounds very nice  Wink
