Still haven't found the pics yet!! To confirm a problem with the tip over switch, stick your bike into DIAGNOSTIC mode and see if it flashes up fault code 41, which relates to the tip over switch. Details on DIAG mode here:- http://www.apriliaforum.com/techtips/1000/faultcodes.htm Here's a pic of the switch, so you know what yer looking for:-

Ok There is no reference to 1 in the manual for faults. So I'll take an educated guess. Check the codes by doing the following. Turn ignition on, EFI will come on for 3 seconds.Crank the engine over for at least 4 seconds. Let me know the code, or what flashes up exactly.Suggest you do the above fist before doing below. Try this, these are faults with a 1 in the number. Firstly, check connections on the camshaft sensor (I think there is one on each cylinder on opposite sides, identify by wire colour). On the same side as the oil tank. Front cylinder on camshaft cover towards front. Connector coloured white (blue/yellow and white / yellow wires)This one will stop the bike starting if faulty. Then check coolant thermister. On rhs rear cylinder of bike next to the first cover bolt as you look at it. This one will make cold starting difficult if faulty. As far as I can tell, these are the only 2 that will stop the bike firing up. Sounds complicated but it isn't. Hope this helps.
