How snug should the link pipe fit to the non can end, having replaced end can (and link pipe). When it is fixed to hanger there is slight blowing and feels reasonably firm, but before fixed to hanger the fit is quiet sloppy. Is this norm when fitting non-standard items or should I consider a snugger fit?

when I removed the standard can and link pipe to fit my Leo Vince one, the link pipe was very snug on the end of the bikes exhaust system, not tight that it was a struggle but took some wiggling about to get it right on, no blowing whatsoever from it

Single can systems are always pretty close, you often see dents and scratches in the swingarm to prove it.
As said, you just need to persevere and wiggle it to fit.
Do you have springs or clamps holding it all together Rich?

Sorry, I read that completely wrong! D'oh!

You should get some exhaust silicone and clean out the collector outlet, in the sleeve, give it a good smear if silicone, then offer up your link pipe.
Just tighten it all up and let it go off. Should be good then!

I've had the Mivv oval can on Mille for 6 months with no problems. I t came with link pipe that has a slightly sloppy fit into the collector end ( it fits well into the end can inlet) until all the springs are in place and attached and tightened up to hanger (nice new shiny one - thanks John). It hasnt given me any problems but I have thought it could affect the efficiency of system long term. Does anyone think it would be worth fitting a thin collar? Thanks.

Yep very snug, the end can sat exactly where it was even before I fixed the hanger on.

I had to get a local shop to get my gianneli link pipe off, they had to use a blow torch and get it red hot to shift it. It wasn't too tight when it went on either just a build up of carbon I think.

my old leo vinci was quite loose at that end,
but the blue flame can that came with the bike was tighter than a nuns hoo hah!
it took a lot of getting off.

my mivv gp can just fits nicely, not loose but not silly tight.
seems hit and miss with quite a few different link pipes for some reasonAngry
