Im wanting to put twin cans on my T1 but cant afford a fancy set of aftermarket cans so if I bought a pair of standard T2 would it be like putting an aftermarket single can on mine ?

After all it will be letting more gas out and not strangling it !

Any views or experience in this department ????

A big learning curve that never ends !

Im planning to make one of those mods but have been drooling over the tig one for sale and thought I might be able to make something with a pair of gen 2 standard cans as well as the tig one ?

This new dual system fits all RSV's from '01-'03. Notice the small link pipe from just behind the U-bend section...this is a new addition, as well as a change to the length of the headers & titanium outlet pipes, which are now tapered. This produces more mid range power and torque compared to the standard system, with an increase of 16 bhp at 6k rpm and 9 bhp at peak revs.
