Love the specsheet on the new 959 but what the f**k were they thinking with that exhaust

The spec sheet is not that different from the 899 when you dig deep. The extra cc is almost all to cover the losses in engine output from euro4 emissions. It's pushed up peak power but not a great deal else to any degree.
 
If you rip the oem setup off which any discerning owner would do then it might be different. I was also led to believe that the exhaust would not be fitted in all regions and would only be used where the under belly version cannot get through homologation (it was already on the Asian version of the 899). Not sure if that means the UK get it or not with euro 4

Im just going to have to save up for a second hand 1199 I think
Really disappointed with the new R1 engined MT as well, bet it'll go well but it just looks a bit meh.....
