Hi all.
Had my RSVR for about 6 weeks or so and the only problem I had was the lack of rear brake. Therefore the first mod I wanted to do was to sort this by relocating the rear M/C to the rearsets. I therefore bought some rearsets from "Solo Corse" as the guy that owns it is a member of the Ducati forum I read. The rearsets are actually made by a company called SES although I'd never heard of them before. Anyhow, here are the finished rearsets: ![]() And the other side: ![]() To be honest these were not perfect in terms of fitment for the following reasons: -There was no provision for relocating the bracket that secures the lower fairing; as standard this is part of the footpeg assembly. You can take the fairing bracket from the stock footpeg, drill it out to accept an M8 bolt and fit this through one of the "spare" holes in the rear set however this of course stops you using that position for adjustment in the future. -There is no bracket provided to secure the rear brake reservoir (I will make a small ally bracket to fit to the pillion footpeg. -There is no provision for the rear brake switch however as you can see I used an in line banjo pressure switch. -There is no "stop" for the rear brake pedal meaning you could hook you foot under it and pull it up until the push rod jams into the side of the M/C. I added a stainless bolt with some threaded collars (visible in the pictures) to stop the brake pedal rotating past a neutral position. -The provided push rod is just not the correct shape to fit into the master cylinder as it has a flange around it stop it being pushed more than a few mm into the M/C. This doesn't allow enough travel to actuate the brakes. I therefore used the standard pushrod however this needed to be threaded further down its length otherwise it is too long for the application. My local Ducati workshop helped me with alot of this work as I'm crap with bleeding hydraulic systems! Anyhow I just thought I'd post this incase anyone else was looking to do this job. I can't of course compare these to other rearsets on the market that move the M/C however as I mentioned this was not exactly a "plug and play" change!
