Used to have a black and red one on a Y plate. Great bike. Good to see you've spun the rear adjusters to put a bit more rear ride height.

Lowered the front a little too, plus Racetech springs & K-tech valves etc front and back. Pricey but the change is well worth it.
You're right though, cracking bike. |

Got mine new from Carnells in Stockport. First and only new bike I've ever had. I had the same feeling the day I picked it that I had one Christmas as a kid when I got a Raleigh Grifter. Buzzing all day!

I had a 1200r.
Loved it, spent a fortune modding it, got a Tig Mario race pipe(amongst many other things) imported from Japan. Chuffing hell what a sound ! |

 Keep this in the states (2002 R1) with plans to ride every state. Then I got married. The bike's still there. The mississippi  some garage somewhere  |
