I keep Mille on an Optimate, however she refused to start after a long run, had the alarm removed (should have done it years ago) as I thought it might be draining the battery, plus I grew to hate it more every year. Four miles after having the alarm removed she refused to start again, AA man says the battery is knackered! Had the battery tested in a bike shop and told it is fine! I don't want to buy a new battery if I don't need to. What else could the problem be?

Its down to the old basic's.
Stator to Reg/Rec white connector Stator test Reg/Rec test charging circuit fuses tests Only the results will tell you what is/isnt working. And while you are at it get some main power cables from Johnboy , top bits of kit and a worthy upgrade to the cheese straw's Aprilia fit.
