NEC Show

Any one goig to the NEC this year Im going on the 3rd November would be nice to meet up at the show put a few faces to the names

I was going BUT: i usually only go on preview day as it's quieter, i won't go on a weekend its too hectic, tho has been busier in recent years even on that day. Well this year it's £28..ouch! call me grumpy[:(] if you like but i only go to shows on my own these days as i can just please myself with how long i stay somewhere, what i watch etc. So it works out: £28 entry £30 to £40 fuel £8 car park? £10 to £12 food&drink (at NEC & mway services) That's without buying any goodies i reckoned close enough to £100 without buying bike gear. Plus: all the Italian bikes (which is what i reckon most of us on here are interested in) will be held over for Italian show in November. Aprilia who knows if they'll be at Brum? SO checked easyjet, i can fly from Gatwick (25 mins from me) saturday arrive 09:30 ...show opens at 10:00 to 18:30. If i want a hotel i've checked and i can get one in milan for saturday night for as little as £27 with private bathroom but plus brekkie.[:)] As it happens a friend lives in saronno 20 minutes outside milan so i'm staying with her after spending the day at the show go out to couple of bars there, probably go to lake como sunday or something spend the day there and then get train to airport sunday evening catch the 21:15 flight back home. The flight costs me £57!![:0] I know i'll probably blow £100 or a bit more ,especially with drinks saturday night[:p] but as i don't need the hotel anyway i think i still win overall. Aprilia stand at NEC!!!!! - you have got more chance of plaiting snot! Speedaway Motorcycles (Blackheath) are there with a white Tuono Factory and an RSVR with an awful paint job along with some very cheap clothing. Other than that don't hold your breath.
