its the diameter of the two round holes at the top, where the velocity stacks go into

Have you checked the engine yet tony, the code is above the chain stamped on the engine, if it's still the eddy engine it will be stamped 990rr , where as standard engine is 990rp

yes mate stamped rr as far as i can see and the smashed engine is rr also
is this why the top of the injectors are green

Yes mate, as far as i know the 990rr engine and 57s are bike specific to the edwards, i think the 2004 rsvrs are stamped slightly different, something like rr990 and the 57s have different coloured connectors, but someone on here may correct me about the 2004 specs.

If they are the Edwards throttle bodies they will have green injectors..you have the matching carbon airbox as well don't you??.

Must check the engine number on mine tmorrw , mines a late 03 and the top of the injector is green , body is silver . so what does that mean .
