Just a quick warning, i nearly got my balls burned off when a fuel pump didnt automatically cut off. Fuel poured everywhere all over the bike and me. Luckily i had only driven about 500 metres so the engine wasnt too hot.
So keep an eye on the tank when your filling up and dont trust those pumps.

Did that once with my R1100S... it's a sickening feeling, isn't it? Not knowing if you and your steed are about to become visible from space?
It stained the paint on one of my jugs, too.

I thought excess pressure from the pump was returned back to the fuel tank? What let go, a seal or a split pipe?
