can anybody help
got an 03 mille on an 04 plate with half purple coloured can
went to clean it with a liquid metal polish (halfords)to get rid of tar and crap after a recent continental trip and luckily started on underside as purple has definitely faded away
any suggestions as I kind of like the colour as it is ?
Thanks

I have one of those "bronze" coloured standard cans from a 2003 Mille, on my 2000 RSV.
They pick up smudges, tar marks etc like there's no tomorrow, very easily.
The best thing I've found so far for cleaning it, is good old WD40.
Just spray some on and wipe down, works a treat.
