Gsx(r) 750 1997/8 4k miles LC350 parts

   Went to work on my bike the other day and logically enough screw people got talking about their bikes one of whom has a 1997/8 GSX(r?) with only 4k miles on it and 2 owners from new. The second being my boss. Who bought it at about a month old with 1k miles 
Just wondered if anyone would be interested in me finding out more. 
He also has about half a 350 power valve bike including a complete engine and some custom made exhausts (carbon I think) again if anyone's interested I am happy to ask 

As I understand it the bike is fairly standard but the original owner des ticketed it and had it painted and probably nerds reprinting 
Haven't known him too long but he seems a fairly straight feller to me
