Looking for some honest opinions here. Its Looking like im able to keep my 1098s after the surgery. Some serious scrimping and general hibernation whilst recovering has helped.

However I have sold my little commuter so ideally need something slightly less finicky as a daily and fun bike.

I've potentially got a swap for a 2015 RF but high miles 31k. Not horrendous. I'm waiting for some more service history details. As its already " used" I wouldn't mind using it daily whereas the ducati is a princess who hates traffic even more than aprilias thankfully it's not a big part of my riding.

Or is swapping a 1098s for a RSV4 a stupid question on hereLOL
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

Not a stupid idea at all but that mileage is where some v4’s do develop top end issues. As in valve guide wear etc. if it has service history, look for the need for recent re shimming particularly on exhaust valves.  It can be a tell tale.

The history didn't add up. 1098 it is for now it would be hard to sell.
