Hi Guys, I've got one of the early Gen1 Big Air Boots for sale. Less restriction, better airflow and great induction sound than the later noise restricted later versions. £50 delivered in UK Will post overseas, please contact me for postage costs. |

I don't think they are the same. The Falco air boots I have seen
have oval inlets whereas the RSV have round inlets. That may not apply
to all versions/years of Falco but I don't really know. Pics below show early RSV Big Air Boot on the right with the later more restrictive on the left. |

cheers still got the oem one for the Falco just seeing if any little tweaks to help it find its missing ponies lol
I fitted a Pipercross filter as i have had good experiences with them in cars in the past. seen the kit that does away with top of the airbox but the underside of my tank is a mess the foam peeled off and tank has swollen a bit so could see issues there.

I did the open airbox mod and it did take a lot of effort to remove all of the noise deadening foam. I did get it squeeky clean in the end though as I was motivated to get the mod done. Does it make a difference? In performance terms, probably not much on it's own but alongside other mods it's probably worthwhile. In terms of induction nose though it's definitely a win! |
