I have had my gen 2 tuono factory for about 6 years now still really enjoying it but I just feel the rear shock is to stiff I have played about with it best I can I weigh 88kg fully kitted up so I am thinking of changing the spring. is changing the spring a DIY job or would I be better off sending the complete shock away to a specialist.

It’s easily diy if you have access to spring compressors, almost impossible without. I borrowed some from my local car garage or they might do it for you.
