Hello, please noone take this the wrong way, hope this doesn't cross any rule of the board - does anyone by any chance have an A63 eprom readout at hand? I'm really not trying to do anything shady, certainly nothing in the way of the old cloning-an-eprom-to-sell-it-under-your-own-name (I mean, who'd buy a relabelled A63 anyways...?) - just trying to get into the eprom modification thingy and - yes I own an A63, but stupid me took it out as I have bought a Gabro F255 which runs ok-ish on my near stock ME (collector to be modded is in the mail right now), but I'd like the option to put it back to stock if necessary. So I took out the a63, put it in my backpack to be read out within an anti-electrostatic bag, and stupidly forgot the backpack at a friend's vacation house at lake garda in october. Not a big issue, they can pick it up next time they're there, but I'm really not keen on travelling to Lake garda over the winter just to get that bag...

You’re probably more likely to get results by contacting someone like Gabro who will undoubtedly have had the readout. Or source a used eeprom. Is the house in Riva Del Garda ? If yes I’m almost tempted to go get it for you. Been itching too cycle up the cliff path to Sopine.

Haha not quite in Riva, it's a bit further south in Vigole, a village near Maderno - was a spontaneous trip on a summery-feeling October weekend, actually went from Innsbruck on the Mille (with the Gabro chip) to visit them... too much traffic, but at least the sound in the tunnels and galleries was nice and it wasn't cold (unlike right now, temperatures will hit -17°C in Innsbruck over the next nights). Yes I may pick up another A63 so I can first get a feel for how the tables are set up over the winter, and see what the gabro chip does different to that... you're right, perhaps Gabro is willing to point me in the right direction...

Ah I found a thread where Gabro posted it all on Apriliaforums - just for future reference in case anyone else is in the same situation: https://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?242178-OEM-Eprom-binary-file-collection&highlight=eprom+file

Have to say this is fun... one of the few cases where working with AI actually is enjoyable. I don't really understand assembler, but the past few evenings I've spent getting deeper into the code, having the AI translate Assembler to C language which I know - have found all the tables (unrestricted/restricted DJI, 29x16 and alpha-n 29x18, along with ignition 29x18) and the important acceleration (8x3) tables. Seems my initial harmless project idea might not work: if I wrote the stock Aprilia unrestricted tables on the Gabro chip, it might already feel quite different to ride than the same tables at the stock chip. Gabro's dev work did not just go towards "better fuelling and ignition timing" (looking at the tables, I'd be surprised if the rather specifically optimized fuelling tables I've seen actually made perfect sense on every custom-collector-modded bike with every imaginable race can and some sort of airbox modification...). Don't know if this is at all interesting to anyone here (or if this even counts as borderline "spilling the beans" on Gabro's valued development work), but I really just enjoy getting into the details...
