Hi all,
Reading about the recall issues with swingers on Gen2's and wondered if anyone knows of any recalls that would affect my Gen1 2001 RSVR? As far as I know, none have been done. Dealers changed a few times up here and although should be based on reg info wondered if I might have missed any. |

Just checked the VOSA site and as you say none on mine. Seems there was one on the 2003 models though - incorrect valve springs fitted!

all recalls on every model of rsv have been sorted....there maybe a small number of bikes that are incomplete but its less then 3 % of total vehicles sold
the early bikes were only subjected to two ...ifi remember and later ones the swing arm only.... its been a while tho! G i know DVLA and visa still will consider these recall now closed! |

Surprised they weren't all recalled with regards to the lack of a back brake :-)

At least they acknowledged those problems rather than the 98-02 Yam R6 with the second gear time bomb. Mate of mine went through two gearboxes before getting rid.
