Hello I have a 2005 gen1 charging problem 14v when running normal if I turn the indicators and the main beam on I get 12.8 sometimes as low as 12.4 turn main beam off and indicators of goes back to 14v but also seems a bit sliggish and when revving under 4K it's like it's spluttering new battery and a new genuine reg Rec the stator is pumping out 50v when you ickover goes down to 43v thankyou in advance

You need to test across each phase in the block connector to be certain. Equally check the connector block itself as it may have two. Certainly the gen2 has one in the centre of the V below
The throttle bodies. Check what battery voltage is going in and see what it’s getting too when revs at 4K

In that case the sluggish revving May just be a throttle body set up after the recommended removal of the fuel pump, change the fuel filter and clean out the tea bag filter. Check the wiring loom there too as it’s now very old and several have failed recently. Griff sells a new pump loom thingy

What’s it kicking out when indicators are off ? Given the infrequent and short duration of indicator usage they are somewhat irrelevant in determining your general charging capability. Anything above the nominal voltage of the battery (12.6 usually) will keep it charged if ridden for long enough. On a gen1 high resistance in the wiring connectors is more likely a problem than a component failure but I have my doubts that the sputtering is linked.

Be interesting to see if it changes with the new eeprom etc. Have a look at the TB inlet boots for splits in case it’s sucking in air or something. That can make it cough and as the rubber gets hotter any splits can open up.
A spray with something like wd40 on the boots will pick up any air being sucked in as the engine note will change.

I have the same bike, same year. I replaced my oem reg rec with a Shindengen unit from a Fireblade.
Check your white and brown connectors on the stator to reg rec loom, split them to check, they can be prone to corrosion and burning out. With the symptoms you've identified, checks your earths are good and not corroded. Last summer mine started to hesitate around 4-5k revs, took out the fuel pump and all looked ok, even the t bag, but I replaced the fuel filter and cut the old one open, it was clogged with crap. Running well with the new filter now.
