Bob

If I can’t use the headstock one I am a fan of an abba with the front lift.
But
Appreciate limitations on both those so my go to for track days or storage etc is the R&G stands. Well made and simple.
If money was no object it would be Gee tech.

Of note I thought the Mille one was possible to get to and it is a much smaller pin. Ready to be corrected there as I’ve not owned a Gen1 in years and then it was a track bike with the cover removed

Cheers Bob

Been a while since I’ve looked at the Gen1 in that way. The abba front lift is very good, especially as at first glance it looks a little precarious 😂. Great for front end maintenance especially removing fork legs etc.

I've had my Gen 1 Tuono on an Abba superbike stand with the front arm lift for the past couple of days; seems solid as a rock...

Can't beat an Abba SB stand for security

Although the Abba Skylift with front lift arm is even more versatile in the garage.

For quick use in the paddock however a paddock stand is still preferable so I'd say anything with a pin that locates in the hole under the fork legs, don't be tempted by the type with just a rubber cushion like this piece of sh*t

Although this will probably be ok once I've fitted a pin to the pads

The pin/fork stands are good. The R&G ones have a decent protective coating on the pins to help prevent damage if you’re not quite spot on with placement too
