I really like the look of the wheels. Imagine how it would look if you had a small stripe running from front to back in the same colours. I do fully appreciate that it has been done on other bikes, Heath's Mille with the RSV4 back end for example, but that's a different bike and postcode.
Looking forward to your new project.

I only meant on the front mudguard, tank and rear seat cowl by the way, not down the sides.

I understand what you meant and tbh i was tempted when it was being painted.
I was going to fit a gen 1 mille swingarm. The hugger has been painted the same has the wheels but i decided against fitting them.
I have been out today to clean and polish the bike and i think it looks nice how it is and not too muchWink

When I were a nipper my Dad bought a brand new ('N' reg!) Fiat 124 Special in wine red. He put white and green Halfords stick-on pinstripes down each side with a gap in between, then a small Union Jack sticker on both the front valance and boot lid. Looked great in 1975. Now Fiat offer it as a option on the 500!

there are currently around 390 falco's left in the UK, of which only 250 odd are on the road

I like what Jay has done, though we have had a chat about the wheels :)

oh - the exhausts are genuine aprilia - the very rare street fighter SL cans

for those who do not know, Jay also has 3 other Falcos - including an oasis green - one of the 8 left
(My other half also has an oasis green.... I resist the temptation to mod it... much...)

There weren't many Aprilias there last year, so I shall look forward to seeing it in the flesh/metal.
