As the other thread, having trouble shifting my 52 Mille - its almost 3 years old and done less than 6K miles in perfect condition and not had much interest above £4K. I have not used it for last year or so and can't face having in garage for another winter. thought about e-bay with a £3750 reserve. Any interest or anyone got a super moto + cash to exchange? P.S my scooby sti typre uk is up for sale if interested 54 reg 12K miles and £17K - gives the mille a run on a good day. cheers Paul. No time to Ride!!

I paid £3620 on ebay for my 2000 Mille (3100 miles) just a few months ago. Surely yours is worth a bit more tan that.

I would have thought its worth more than £4K and certainly dealers have told me they would be asking just under £5K !! I have had two guys interested but they did not get on with it after riding it, one had a VFR and the other a ZX9, both said great bike but couldn't get used to the VTwin characteristics!! - strange as most people seem to prefer the V Twin once they had got used to it. I had Ducati's before the Mille ( years ago a GS750) - comming from the Duc's it was great!! Anyone else had a 4 cylinder person not like the Mille? No time to Ride!!

Baffles me - got my 2000 RSVR for £3900 after 20 years of Jap fours ending with a ZX9R. The Mille has helped me become twice the rider I was - much more confident and committed. Its a far superior all round package, in every respect, to the 9. I love it, and don't even get me started on the sound ........!!! What we do in life echoes in eternity.....

I've been reading elsewhere that twins prices are taking a beating - why? I dunno. Buyers market at present and all that. Bike magazine reckoned the new breed of 4's pushed performance so far, twins were undesirable... I guess if you like McDonalds you'll always look forward to the next mouth watering recipe...[8)] Anyway, Bike Trader is still showing healthy prices, though there is the usual "quick sale needed due to...." I bought my '02 in June with 5k miles on it - I've now done 16k and still can't get enough of it, but I wouldn't sell - it's mine for keeps[:)] Mother Nature rides a biker

I will have to take her for a spin this weekend to make sure all's running well, I checked the service details this am I have only done a couple of hundred miles since the last service in April!! I really can't understand the Vtwin situ other than the problems Aprilia had a while back with going bust and the 3 cylinder MotoGP bike. If only they had stuck at it and won the WSB series with a cracking VTwin mille. I sold the Akra can a while back when I decided to sell the bike, so put the std can back on - sounds too quite and even a bit tinny from the can area, maybe the baffles need a bit of carbon around them. Will try eBay and a few other avenues and then wrap up until the next service in April. No time to Ride!!

what is the blade like? - I prefer twins but a new blade must be pretty good? My bikes on ebay at the Mo with a £3500 reserve - 27 watching but not much bidding!! beware anyone trying to sell at the moment the prices are dropping and still not finding the bottom. Fantastic bargains around if you are a buyer. cheers No time to Ride!!
