Im looking for a table displaying the AP8240 spring rates for a given rider weight, can anyone help?. Ive got a 31/95 spring fitted but feel I need a lighter one as my weight is down from a few years back when I had this spring fitted. With the 31/95 Ive got sag at 37mm rider on board fully kitted, but the pre load adjuster ring is only a few mm from fully wound off and the back end feels harsh now Ive had the front Showas sorted.
My curent weight fully kitted is 80kg.
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

no idea if this will help you

How to read spring part numbers:
Example Part Number: 65/200/80
-65mm Internal Diameter
-200mm Long
-80 N/mm Spring Rate

below are the codes for the most common spring rates used on Ohlins shocks;

24=80    26=85     29=90     31=95     34=100     36=105      39=110     41=115

To my knowledge there is no aprilia specific list of spring rates linked to rider weight etc. Because the calculation is partly based on linkage ratio, a generic list won’t be accurate. There are rate calculators on the net if you know the linkage ratio, your riding weight, etc etc.

Racetechs website has a good spring rate calculator, where you input bike, riding etc and gives you a suggested rate.
Used their data in the past to get Springs etc

Is the spring rate comparable with rider weight?
If the back feels over sprung should I go down from 95 to
80N rate or just the next one down, which would be a 90?
Spoonz, I found an old post of yours from another forum stating the
10191 31/95 was for a kitted rider from 80-88kg (you quoted 12.5- 14 stone), in which case at 80 kg Id need to go to the next lower spring rate of 29/90?
