Hi Guys,

Bought a gen 2 tuono back end of summer. Not ridden it much but Looking at some upgrades for this year.

It has an ohlins on the rear but the rest is standard I think.

I was thinking

New cans - arrows? seen some Mivv X-cones which I like the look of but assuming very loud (my gen 1 had a danmoto GP on which was loud but I read somewhere they arent good for power so would the x-cones be the same?
Map 2?
Power commander?
Airbox mod?

Its got a new chain/sprockets on so probs leave it even if it's not been down geared.

Had a gen 1 briefly that had everything done but didn't ride it much due to covid and it had sh*te tyres on. So I am determined to get some miles on this one!

All the best

x cones are a nice shape but literally just an empty tube stay away

go for something a little more refined .. arrows are a class act for sure

if you are changing cans you want map 2 anyway

airbox mod is ok these create a lot of induction noise there are 2 types the open airbox sold by Jolly’s carbon or the AP sealed evo kit .. if you go the latter the guys suggest red grease on the rubber seal to stop crap getting in

track down some dual velocity stacks they make a big difference guys on facebook  are selling 3d printed ones for £75-ish these give a nice spread of power across the rev range

if you go power commander get a custom map not a generic one of you want to go the whole hog £££ go pcv with at300 auto tune , you’d need ports welding in your downpipes though

Seem to be able to get arrows for about £500 new.

What do the stacks do? Is the air box mod worth it?
