Hiya, does anyone know how to check to see if you've got the early or later frame? So after the swingarm mount and engine mounts were raised sometime in 2000 I believe. I've come across a frame which checks as 01 on the Piaggio website, but is dated 11.09.00 on the frame stamp TIA.

Don’t know how to officially check by numbers alone but Aprilia historically release next year models in September so the frame date would likely be for a 2001 model year bike.

It comes up as 2001 on Piaggio but I was just wondering if there was a starting frame number for the later models. I know sometimes manufacturers use old stock on new bikes (see Ducati 200/2001 fro example)
