HI chaps.......I have a 2007 rs125 2t that im trying to resurect..there are 2 wires coming from the loom that includes the tps and a couple of connections to the carb...these 2 wires are white with a red tracer and red with a black tracer...are these anything to do with the fuel low warning? one is ignition fed live....thoughts?

They go to the air solenoid from what I can see on the wiring diagram.

Thanks for that.....now here's the next question....where is the air solenoid and what does it look like and do? and finally where does the low fuel warning sensor connect to..the wires seem to have been ripped as they enter the sensor so no colours or any idea where they would go to....thanks again

Had a quick 'google' and I think the air solenoid is either not there or removed...it was an ex racing 125....is it required? or can I seal them off......low fuel light is my neaxt problem

It’s for intake air warming in cold weather. It’s a pipe that runs from the exhaust to the air box. The solenoid opens and closes it based on air temp etc. if the bike has had an aftermarket exhaust, they don’t have the port to connect to so it would have been removed. 

Do you need it ? Depends if you ride in cold enough weather where icing might be an issue.

Fantastic.....yes it has an arrow exhaust,that explains it....so seal them off !...many thanks.....any thoughts on the low fuel warning?

I would check that the level switch operates with a meter. If it does trace the wires back for disconnects. It light and dark blue wires out of the switch to the connector and green with brown stripe and solid brown from then on.  ( brown is Gnd, green/brown is signal to dash.

HI.....sadly no wires sticking out of the sensor(broken flush)...but cant locate the connector for it the leads to the dash....looking at images of the switch it seems to plug into a black 2 pin socket......will keep looking

The signal goes to pin 18 on the dash connector. Worst case run a new wire. The ground is shared with the dash ground and one side of the mode switch but any ground point should suffice.
