Aprilia RSV Mille For Sale (2001)

The bike has covered a genuine 14500 Miles, the last 4000 miles with me in the saddle.

This is the rarer blue Aprilia RSV with many upgrades/modifications:

Carbon fibre - rear hugger, front fairing deflectors, front mudguard (is cracked Cry ), dash cowl, instrument cluster, yoke and fuel filler covers.

I have personally completed all the usual modifications to make it as reliable as a Jap bike (I am a fully qualified technician so all repairs have been done professionally), charging circuit mod, upgraded battery, upgraded starter solenoid, dipped beam switch mod etc.... I have fitted an HID Xenon 35W dipped beam unit that is excellent at night and for being seen during the day, LED indicators all round, blue LED backlit dash instead of the usual dull orange, LED stop and tail bulbs and most importantly a Spy 5000 metre remote start & paging alarm with a microwave sensor that can be disabled from the remote.

It has a Gianelli twin can under seat exhaust with a DrRossi EPROM mapped for the modifications I have made to the air intake (Hooked air box) and exhaust set ups.

This bike has to be seen/ridden I guarantee the ride/handling will not disappoint the buyer, the recently overhauled front forks using Silkolene Pro RSF 5W oil, fettled suspension settings front and rear, Bridgestone BT016 tyres front and rear make for a rewarding ride. This is not your average commuter/sports bike and I will not sell to any boy racers, you need to have experience and respect to handle these bikes.

I am a fully fledged member on many Aprilia RSV forums and my bike and the history can be seen in many threads on these forums.

I am selling to finance my next project and will only sell for the stated price.

Asking price is £3500 - No offers but will consider a 2004 - on RSV Factory plus money (Preferably black).

This bike is used regularly so the mileage will increase slightly, the bike has been well used by me and is not in mint condition, if you're after a bike to polish in your garage then this is not the bike for you.  The bike has no real damage, however the bikes condition can be described as commensurate with the age and mileage.

I remember that day when you came over to see me Colin. That fly died just to the left of the right head lamp and you went home to polish it off!!!
