Griff's 1st Trackday

Okay so how are we going to arrange this ? As most of us are "Southern" well south of the Watford Gap, Brands would be a good circuit and its a fun circuit too.

I'd be up for a little trip to brands, someone will need to hold my hand though as I haven't done a track day befor.:-)

Don't worry if I have my way he'll be locked in a cupboard.:-)

If i could get a van and drag Garin and Stu along i would be up for it.

right a breif explaination about why this is such an event for me....

yes i have a phobia of pain!!

i spent a few years racing CBR600 X7 GSXR 750 WT RD350 etcetc , but the last meeting i did at mallory i crashed hard and made a bit of a mess of things ....i rode a bike the same day again even though i was f**ked up just to make sure but i was still nervous ....

I raced an sp1 again at donny a few years later and wasnt happy at all so that lasted about 3 laps and lucky my visor clip broke so that was me back to the pits and not been on a track since!!

Still ,im a big man and not scared im prepared to face my fears and battle my demons, and this is the year it will happen ! Ive bought an RS250 track bike and am preparing that at the moment ...this was zeds constant torment thats done this by the way!!
Im hopefully gonna get some tuition as its been probably coming up for 10 years since the last time a rode on a track and 13-14 years since the off! or i might just grit my teeth and get in there and do it!!
What ever happens as long as my mates are there i;'ll be alright....or rather the constant go on ...go on ....and the fear of not letting anyone down will do it ....baby wipes anyone???
