I love a bit of 2 stroke Embarrassed every rides an adventure cos your basically riding a hand grenade, here's the one I ride now along with the ape. It started as a collection of bits & took 2 years to build. Been dyno'd at 64BHP at the back wheel which aint bad for a 350

I'm now in the process of building a Kawasaki KH350 hybrid with KR1s running gear.

Rolling chassis finished.

Bodywork still needs paint, new wiring loom built, just needs the engine.

Lumps back from vapour blasting.

Engine going back together.

And one for nickyboy, handmade stainless expansions Big smile

The ypvs hybrid is gorgeous. I do miss two strokes, had a few when I started out, had 3 LCs and an X7 to name a few. Happy days

Fantastic mate ! Still a stroker fan but not ridden one for years. Fond memory's of my Kettle and H2 back in the day. I did the festival of 1000 bikes last year on the rsv, in my last session of the day there where 15/20 RG500's (road and race bikes) on track... It was as close as I'll ever get to being on track with Bazza and Co.

Well the Kawasaki 350 hybrid is basically finished (I know it says 250 but that's just for the old bill & insurance Wink) just waiting for the offset front sprocket & it's off for an MOT, should make around 55 BHP with the modifications which isn't bad for a piston ported 2 stroke. It will have a wicked power band Big smile

Nik, you do build a good looking bike. The YPVS is stunning, I bet it's proper fun that.

That is absolutely lush & very cleverly done. Could be just a clean resto but the more you look the more you see.

Very very nice. I race a TZR250 2MA and I always describe that as riding a hand grenade....it's not if it will blow up....it's when it will blow up :)

I went to the Classic TT this year to support a mate who raced a Spondon framed YPVS 350. The YZR500 and TZ's were on fine form :)

2T's are my first love since my AP50 as a teenager.

Two awesome bikes there mate. Still rue the day I swapped my TDR250 for an old slabbie. That bike was a bunch of fun. Alas, I never really trusted it not to blow up - comes from spending every weekend rebuilding numerous aircooled RD250/350s with popped pistons when I were a nipper.
Would love one now.
