Well, it's sadly going to go. Unfortunately I just don't have the willpower for a bike like this, and I quite like my driving license. So, it's not cheap, but it's one a hell of a Mille! see http://pbmagforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=11875 for more details. All sensible offers considered. I'll pull together a proper list of modifications over the weekend. Cheers Luke

Hi, I'm looking for around 6K but may be open to sensible offers. The throttle bodies and exhaust system cost 4K alone!! Bridgestone BT016's F&R fitted only 50miles ago, not even scrubbed in. MRA double bubble screen The instrument mounting frame and rocker covers are also powder coated black oh quick release fuel tank dry breaks too. I can be contacted on luke.price@gmail.com or 07876 352863 if you want further info :) |

Kev's right unfortunately lovely bike but you never get your money back for all the mods.
Put it back to standard and sell all the tuning goodies. Andy

Sorry, I'm not gonna split it, just couldn't bring myself to do it. Not sure I really want it to go anyway, I'll sell it for the right price but until then I'm gonna continue to enjoy it :) Update on the mileage 7300miles and the forks are pukka Ohlins Road and Track type c. L I do have a few other bits to sell though, the first being one of the Evoluzione airbox kits, aluminium frame, rubber seal and K&N style filter. Open to offers, can provide pictures.

What sort of Hp did you get out of her Luke? Wish i was in England, Id snap her up. I have the same model which ive had from new & have always of one day planned to do what you did. With the full hybrid carbon fairing, 98-01 tail section with 2001-3 side & front fairings, same look as Hagas superbike was, although he did run the older side fairings but still had our model front, Killa look.
Ive put the 100mm kit in mine, Lightly ported heads, a hand made airbox, 54mm throttle bodies, the Tigcraft dual 60mm Ti system, factory pro chip combined with power commander 3,hand polished frame & swingarm, have recently painted her flat black again the 00 Corser Colour scheme with stickers & brake tech brake ceramic rotors. If only i could afford yours & morph them together as one LOL. Mines pushing out an easy 140hp @ wheel with 85FtLbs torque 70 of that @ 3800rpm. Apparently if we fit the later model 07 onwards Mille heads & up compression to 13 to 1 u can another 10hp @ wheels. What are you asking for the Evoluzione airbox kits, aluminium frame, rubber seal and K&N style filter

Just found out that the Oz Magnesiums were only fitted to a specific model, I was told they were magnesium when i bought the bike, but there are no markings that i've noticed, so there's a chance they're the OZ aluminiums fitted to the RSVR as standard, they are still lovely, no marks or scuffs and really light so I'd never questioned it...
I've decided not to get another bike and I am keen to sell, so I'll consider cheeky offers :o) luke 07876 352863

Hello ;)
Blimey after seeing all that I feel like the cat who got the cream! I got it from a guy who bought it from his brother-in-law. But it's clearly not been ridden to hard for a while. Some of the carbon has taken some knocks (hole in the hugger and a couple holes in the tail piece where it hadn't been fitted back on properly). Was lashed with ACF50 and stored outside for a while as well before I bought it. I managed to knock the guy down from the £2800 advertised to £2.5k as with the mileage, and a quick call to Aprilia Performance to get some heads up about what to look for. I think it's overdue some valve clearance checks. There's a few other bits I'd like to get checked over to so I might try and get up there sooner rather than later to get a health check done on the bike. If it's dry it'll be my first run out on her tomorrow. Will just potter about in the garage cleaning bits up if it's wet though. No doubt I'll be asking a load of school boy questions on here about Aprilia ownership for a while. Have had a 916 before, but this is my first Aprilia (great way to start it seems). Booked to go to Rockingham on a track day on her on May 11th as well. Can't wait now, was excited before but now I know about all this I think it's going to be a VERY interesting day! Cheers Steve

Yup, signed up to both forums when I was researching the bikes a bit before jumping into a purchase. Seems a bit weird having 2 very similar forums to search, feels kind of like I'm double posting everything haha.
Will whack up a bit of an intro thread on here now. Cheers Steve
