Hi just thought I'd ask this daft question
Had my tank resprayed put tank back on
Running rough, back firing, open throttle would bog down like fuel starvation
So everything off checked all pipes, breather, fuel pump back on
still the same, I put in brand new ngk plugs running like a dream
but my other plugs were only a year old can they break down that quick or
were they dodgy plugs if so looked really good and
bought from reputable dealer just curious
Cheers dave

Anything is possible. Maybe a cracked porcelain on one plug or maybe it was a dodgy connection on a cap you fixed by changing the plugs or something. Only way to be sure is to put the old ones back in and see if the problem returns.

Hi, has the bike had anything else done at all as the tank removal maybe a red herring.

Starting with basics, fuel, fuel filter, airbox and intakes all connected correct, no sensors left disconnected and spark to all plugs as well as confirming the leads are all connected and in the correct order nothing visually kinked .

After that either drop it to a mechanic or get a Haynes and get methodical Smile
