Evening Gents.
I want to replace my master cylinders with HEL units, due to factory ones being beat up, corroded, leaky and generally in awful condition. I have a question regarding using hydraulic switches for the brake and clutch lever. I note that on the clutch side the OEM switch is activated by pulling the lever, so it seems like adding a hydraulic pressure switch would work as expected. however the brake side OEM switch appears to be de-activated, or released when you pull the lever. Is that going to cause a pressure based switch to provide a reversed signal? Anyone who has any insight to how those switches work, I would greatly appreciate your input. regards Scottie |

A pressure switch will work fine on the brake side, I’m not sure if hel masters have a built in switch but I know the brembo rcs do.
