I’m already perched on the 2020 Tuono saddle so couldn’t comment the comfort difference.

I have noticed however, the genuine Tuono gel seat is only £150 as an upgrade. I think that’s rather outstanding value as it goes and would consider the upgrade if I eventually get to do some miles on it.

Do you have a link to where sells them? My mate was after one as his arse was in tatters riding over to Armoy last year.

Depends on what year his is?

The 2016 Tuono seat is more comfortable according to many forums on the RSV4 and some recommend it over the official Gel seat.
Looking up the Gel seat and it’s no longer available from aprilia direct, according to Fowlers etc.
I looked up the part number and I did find places abroad with it still, but I would suggest checking they are actually selling the Gel version and not the standard seat. Some I notice are listing it incorrectly.
Kind of wish I had purchased one new when I brought the bike. Another way to tell it’s the Gel one is it has Tuono Racing comfort or similar  (or at least Tuono) embossed into the seat covering on at least one of the sides that may put an RSV4 owner off.
The Gel part number is B044750

Yeah I had a quick look online and couldn't see any for sale, seems odd that it has become unavailable so quickly. His is a 2018 so not sure if that is different to the 2016 seat.
