I'm considering a UK falco 2004.

it has a banana swing arm (tuono or millie)

blue sachs shock.

is this a 'walk-away' or a 'no problem-o' ??

the swing arm is a common mod - no performance difference at all, just looks nicer

the blue sachs shock is a replace job - when you can do it - as in it is not a deal breaker

there are a few options, the easiest being the original mille white spring shock - bolts straight in - but do get it serviced .... about 50 quid off evil bay and budget 100 for a service

the mille ohlins shocks - old shape milles, will fit in but do need the correct linkages and dogbones - they will cost more

maxton and other companies do sell shocks that will go straight in, but you pays your money for what you want

imho, for the average rider, a white spring mille shock makes the most sense. if you do track days etc, then go for more - ohlins etc

I have done the conversion to banana swinger on my Falco and added a Nitro race shocker. It's amazing and the guys at Nitron are amazing too. They give amazing service, the product is fabulous - I reckon better than the Ohlins. It looks fab, and is cheaper too.
