Seems crazy when riders are having to pay to get a ride when it's them risking there lives and forking out about £50,000 for a competitive seat.

My mate always cuts right straight after the airport and takes that cut through road. It's bumpy as hell down there!! He has a ktm 690 duke so he's ok, I'm left trying to motor cross the Mille without it tying itself in knots over the bumps!!

Yeah he is out of the coma and responding well. Has said a few words and they were confident his injuries were not as severe as first thought. That was yesterday so hopefully more improvement today

Anyone watch bsb that's why aftermarket rear sets can be awful carnt go wrong with standard aprilia lever connected straight to gear box
That's why motocross ones are for that very reason

BSB is my favourite race series but the more I watch the more I think they should do away with "Superbikes" and make the current 1000 Superstock the premier class...the racing is always tight and the bikes don't cost a fortune as the superbikes do.
The spectator wouldn't notice the difference and we would have more teams competing.
Another factor is tyre wear, anyone who watched yesterday saw the bikes lose four seconds a lap when the tyres went off, we appear to be in a similar situation as happened in the early '70s when the big two strokes were shredding tyres due to power being ahead of tyre development, this wasn't such an issue in the Superstock 1000 race.
I think this idea could also be valid in WSB as the racing is often crap, draws few spectators at most tracks and small grids are the norm.
Comments please,
Greg

Thruxton is a different track, abrasive and fast. Tyres can be an issue there. They've taken out the electronics to make them have a control ecu to bring the racing closer and I think that works well. Wsbk is crap now because dorna own it and they've messed it about!

I like bsb but oh my God the safety is just stupid twice safety car come out yeah fair enough first race but second no way that should have come out

It's one not letting them back on your bike but God it wasn't on racing line the safety has got out of control it's a dangerous sport.

The women's cycle race was more dangerous if any one saw that

They need to get a grip and sort it out just ruined the racing this weekend

The 'elf and safety brigade in this country are on the up unfortunately, won't be happy until we're wrapped in cotton and bubble wrap at birth and not allowed by law to put ourselves at risk.

That's one thing the europeans could export to us, overt H&S seems refreshingly absent from places like France & Austria.

Get her told, you could get to the hospital fairly quick from Cadwell anyway. Just tell her to give you a bell when she's in the ambulance!!!!
