He's a quality rider and its a shame this season has been a mess for him, he had good offers in bsb on a superbike I think that would have been better for him. Wss and wsbk have been devalued this year now bloody dorna have their claws in to it. Sad because it's an awesome series

Qualifying is on now. Race is 10ish I think. I'll watch it. Bsb is on stupid quest again but it's on Eurosport later

Basically at mugello he was trying some settings on his wsbk spec bike and the other guy was slow (bound to be he was on a track day?!?) and had got in the way twice. Apparently some shouting and hand waving went on them down the straight he just jammed his front brake on for him?!? The guy broke his collar bone. Fairly knob head thing for anyone to do but shocking from a professional racer to do

That's totally out of order,is he 'connected'? I would have thought someone would have been after him otherwise,you can't go around doing that on a trackday.
MotoGp I could imagine a few would have a go but not on a trackday with ordinary riders doing their best. |

Typical Italian justice Ian. It's been swept under the carpet and the case has been delayed and delayed so the injured party still hasn't got anything. It was meant to go to court last winter last thing I heard but think it was delayed again. He's in the world endurance championship I'm shocked any team has touched him after that incident. Can't be good for sponsorship?!?

I always try and avoid booking a friday trackday if there's racing over the w/end
I did Ty Croes once the day before the Anglesey?wirral100 w/ender,never again  I looked round in the pit lane (novice) and I was the only one on a road bike,all the rest had numbers and the majority were on slicks. Like putting a goldfish in a pool of piranas |

A mates lad raced in the auto66 national club series on a 400 then a 600. The guy who won the superbikes was streaks ahead of everyone else and proper quick but he couldn't get into the range of lap times required to even enter bsb!!! Just shows how quick they are

I saw thundersport this year they was a kid called Josh day he was miles ahead of everyone apparently he's got a superstock ride in bsb so look out for him next year

Yeah that's what I mean josh day is in super stock 600 isn't he? But he will have been miles ahead of pre national level riders. It's a gulf from track day fast group to like auto66/bemsee stuff and then another gulf to bsb type level. Makes you wonder how fast Moto gp boys must be?!?!

It's good watching club type racing! There's always some quick people, it's cheap and often there's a fat bloke who's only doing it for a giggle wheelying at every opportunity!! Auto66 do Cadwell. It's only a few quid but mostly they don't charge anyway!

Says on his website he was in super stock 600 but is now doing thundersport?? Sometimes it's not because they aren't quick it's because they can't get enough money from sponsors. I'd imagine thunder sport is a much cheaper series to run in

Yeah he's got a ride for next year he did north west for first time come 18th which isn't bad at all.
I like watching club racing they still good dam quick enough haha Get to watch loads of races aswell for not alot of money |
