On behalf of my friend.. his 04 rsvr has two same anti return valve on the flapper + throttle body aswell.. (805804 or B05804 deltac - 810 4594) from factory manufacturing

but in the diagram the part code is different (it shud be 810 4996) part 13

does it normal ? or the diagram is wrong? or factory is wrong? haha..

Alternative supplier to Aprilia, both versions do the same thing but are slightly different designs.

I think they are still colour coded though. Black one side and white the other side. Black side faces wherever the vacuum is coming from. i.e. the intake throttle bodies.

Basically the way I see it is the throttle bodies can create a vacuum to the pipes that are connected to it by sucking air in, but cannot put pressure back down the pipes because of the valve. The flapper valve works on vacuum and  so does the clutch, so as long as the valve allows air to go to the throttle bodies only, then all is good.

There are lots of different types and you can also upgrade them to better ones instead of using the OEM ones that can fail and cause running problems.

I'm not a mechanic just something I picked up from working recently on my bike so don't quote me on any of that, but I believe I am right.
