Hi, Had the clutch cylinder and stepper motor changed under warranty on my 04 RSV R. Since the work was done bike is running very lumoy, fuel light comes on after 90 miles and more worrying the bike has a tendency to cut the engine when you pull the clutch lever to stop as traffic lights and roundabouts etc.. Any one else experienced the same or have any ideas on the cause?? Dpt

Had a similar problem with the bike cutting out with the the clutch in on the way to Brno. Changed the fluid to DOT 5 when we stopped for fuel. Make sure you bleed the master cylinder and the slave and don't have ANY backlash at the lever. No more probs since. I was getting about 130 miles to the fuel light. MikeQ

Bike now sorted and running well, back brake even works!!! Apparently when the stepper motor was replaced under warranty a pipe was not reattached to the under side of the airbox properly, hence poor milage and lumpy ride. Dpt

I've heard the Honda SP2 is alot worse, just to put a positive slant on it. I suppose in standard trim the RSVR wouldn't be as thirsty, more air=more fuel and so on. Keep 'er lit!!
