Ok, an alternative to me sourcing a replacement early Gen 1 98-00 headlight, which is proving to be an impossible task, is to swap over to an '01 onwards top fairing and headlight combo. If anyone has an '01 onwards top fairing preferably in hot red, I'll 'ave it. Cash waiting. Oh and a headlight too.

Nice one, Mark. Glad they arrived safely.
Headlight is suffering from that sort of 'brown' discolouration of the reflectors and also has developed a few light hairline cracks on the lens as they do once they get on a bit. Really bugging me so looking to replace it. It works fine, it's just the cosmetics that let it down.
