So I've been getting used to this new steed. This was delivery day and it's the cleanest bike I've ever owned and not a single mark on it. 2010 Daytona 675 SE with only 6k on the clock and bog stock bar the crash protection and seat cowl. Bought it from a close friend who's had it 6 years. Very different machine to the big twin but I'm beginning to really gel with it now. It's like riding a VERY powerful 250! Handling is immense , engine is really pokey only runs out of puff at prison speeds so it's a proper b road weapon. Build quality seems good although the panels are a bit flimsy and the use of awful plastic fastners but overall very good. I'll post up some pics of what she looks like now I've spent a few quid on mods.......I blame you lot hahaha! P.s Triumph forum is sh*t can I stay here please

Hey mate thanks she's a good looking bike. I was surprised how quickly I've shifted to the triple after so many years on a twin but unlike the IL4S it has plenty low down but revs to 14500!!! It's not mille shove but will happily pull from 15mph in third all the way to ton plus in the same gear. That ULZ is bolox I don't know how they think it will do anything other than make huge revenue. I've already bought a brand new Titanium Akra with big bore link pipe, carbon tail and hugger and got some more carbon to replace all the plastic trim on it's way. Would really love some Giamoto rearsets and some nice levers but I'm in no hurry the exhaust system was the priority so I can hear her sing! I'll post up some recent pics once I've weeded the driveway . Have you ridden one yet constant?

Thanks Ray, been banging on about getting one for years so when this came up for sale I had to buy it. Thankfully the factory parts gave me enough to buy it outright with a little left over for some trinkets.

Thanks me old mate, anytime you want to sling a leg over you're very welcome
This is what's so great about this forum. I've not been on for a while but soon as I pop up you're all happy to comment on my new pride and joy even though it's not an ape. Tried to get on with the triumph forum but its nota patch on this place I'll be staying here for sure.

It goes very well Jim very well indeed, still be good to meet up at some point as we're fairly close. Once the kids go back to school I'll have a bit more free time and I'll post a east anglian ride out.
