I got a Mille frame from someone through either this forum or another Aprilia forum a few years ago.
I thought my frame was slightly bent after an accident, turned out it was just me, so I went back to my original frame.
Finally decided to sell the second frame before I use it to build a Mille ornament in the front room, but I didn't get a v5 or reg plate with the replacement frame.
I've tried doing an online vin check to make sure it's not nicked before I sell it, but there's one digit I can't make out. It's either a C or a G. I've tried both combinations in a couple of sites, they both say neither vin is nicked thankfully, but only one says the make/model with the results. For some reason it's saying an Audi something but with 2 wheels and 2003 in the details (sounds like a Mille as 2 wheeled and 2003-ish as a black.

So, yeah, basically is there anyway for me to get a logbook for the frame via a scuffed digit in the vin?
I don't wanna apply for a v5 via someone elses vin.

The vin number will be on the plate as well as stamped on the frame.

Are both the same letters scuffed? Maybe a photo will help.

Try calling the dvla rather than just online

I forgot the vin is also on the frame.

Thanks for the help.
