Got me tools out yesterday and fitted a new Ventura sport rack and rails , piece of piss , only mod is to drill the plastic under seat tray out to 9.5mm so the rail spigots can locate up onto steel seat frame where the Original bungee spools are .Must admit had to close up rails with a bit of muscle to get the rack legs located but all good . Would post photos if I knew how Angry

Check the knurled bolts that hold the rack to the frame regularly. I lost a couple over the 3 years I had one fitted to my bike. Also had to "tweak mine" to fit.

yes I thought this the weak spot , and they do sell them as spares , obvious reason, . It’s back in wardrobe now until my trip to Cornwall in June. Will put my large roll bag on pillion seat as normal then tent etc on rack as this will stop everything sliding forward when braking .
