buy cheap, buy twice! or in this case 3 times!!
Wouldnt touch Goldfren myself though I do agree pads for these bikes are very pricey.

loads of recent posts about brake pads in this and technical section, hit search and grab a picnic.

specifically on goldfren, I used them on my ZZR600 and to be honest, they worked fine.. not as good as ebc hh sinter i had before, but i didnt ride that hard or fast at the time, and the brakes were shockingly bad.

i assume you've seen the ebay ones at a tenner a set for our rsv's..
I will be using SBS RS next.

I always use EBC HH. Tried them back to back with Brembo's and they are superior. Works for me :)

EBC HH on mine, Goldfren have a reputation of either being generally crap or turning to dust in no miles at all.

You have to be careful with some discs what pads you use when i put braking waves on they didn't like the ebc hh pads they had a strange feeling to them hard to describe so asked the supplier about it and he said to use sbs and had no problems since and galfer waves are supposedly the same dont know if anyone else has found this?

Not quite the same but on the Sv I changed from the OEM HH pads to EBC's and they did seem a little "grabby" in comparison, after a short while they went from that to just plain WOODEN.

This time round after checking what people are using w/wide on Sv's  I'm trying Vesra HH  VD344JL's so far these seem less initial grab but more progressive in action.

The ceramic Vesra comp ones I really wanted to try only seem to be imported in Gixxer fitting and they are pretty expensive as well, almost make Brembo look budget.
