Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice on which slip on can to go for? I have just traded the old RSV Mille in on a 2012 RSV4 Factory APRC and looking for that amazing noise and some good looks. I don't want mounting to the pillion foot pegs.

Akrapovic or Austin, don't stick anything cheap and nasty on just because it's loud, the Austin does seem to be a little louder than the Akro but then with a db killer they're both quieter but both look sooooo much better than the original.

Cheers folks! Would you recommend a race ECU with the Astin Racing can or power commander and remap?

Fit an Akra if it were me.

Austin is too noisy for the road imo and if you are gonna fit baffles it kind of defeats the object.

I'd go with the Akra too.

Give Scott a ring at Windy Corner in Barwell, near Hinckley. He has remapped the standard ECU to race spec. The official Aprilia retail price for a race ECU is £320, he is doing the job & set up for about half that. HE was telling me that they had done an RSV4R with full akra & bazzaz with zero map & race ECU 172bhp at rear wheel.
