Can't wait Hemi, it's going in the BB motor. Still loads to do, waiting for the last bits to turn up. The lever pulse sounds nice. Never had a proper slipper before, so apart from reading about them and hearing peoples reviews, it's all new to me.

Now Richard (Mad Dog78) has got me thinking about Ignijet, possibly instead of PCV/ AT300

Question everything.

Yes Mark, haggled a bit, paid a bit more than I wanted, but got it for 450, which is ok.

Contrary to popular belief, I go through a period of guilt when buying stuff. I love it, but oh the guilt. LOL LOL

That's a good way to be and lucky you are for it.

I've got no kids or mortgage, but it's the way I was brought up. We used to get 10 quid for birthdays and 10 for Xmas. Spoilt we weren't, but rich in many other ways.

Hey Rick you are going to love that bit of kit.
You will never regret buying it, that is an TSS really, the best clutch. They come under a lot of guises, mine is a Yoyodyne and it's exactly the same.
Congratulations on a good buy, it's an incredible asset, watch your knees when you're backing it in, but it's completely safe 😂

Hi Rich, I'm really looking forwards to it.

You're probably the reason I got it, chatting in emails and reading your posts. Really got me thinking and regretting turning down the one I was offered before. I doff my cap Big smile

Funny those 3 are the same clutch under different brands.

Bit late for me to watch my knees now buddy LOL LOL

Ha ha Mari will be well looked after buddy, one in a million. One of the great things is we always kept money separate. What's hers is hers, whats mine is mine. Help each other when needed. There's no judgement or permission needed on either side for buying stuff. It's worked for 18 years, so we must be doing something right Smile She's made up I got this and the tank and this. What a gal!

2018's been bl**dy expensive so far. Those wheels are just going to have to wait a bit longer. Quite a bit longer. Confused

Hi Rick, as others have said one of the best mods.
The Ignijet is a bit of a head bake 😂.
But it would save you getting your Pcv modified for the Gen 1 electrics as they do a harness for the Gen 1. But as you won't be modifying the big Bore engine including the induction and exhaust in it's final configuration there will be have to only be mapped once so no need for the Autotune.
It took Gabro six years to get into the Siemens ECU, and he uses Ignijet and rates them.
It's ability to adjust the ignition timing is a big advantage over the oem ecu.
I will be buying two analog controllers Wb1 which are needed to plug the the Lambdas in to the Ignijet and you are welcome to borrow them once mine is mapped.
I just need to find a Dyno tuning shop that can set it up.
I will be contacting James at JSS Tuning and see if they have the Lambdas to plug in the controllers.
I will send you an email soon, in the meantime enjoy the Slipper, the only way to back it in and stay on, it's like having abs on the rear 😂

Funny those 3 are the same clutch under different brands.

Bit late for me to watch my knees now buddy LOL LOL

Hi Rick,
I know what you mean mate, Sussy is great with stuff like that, she thoroughly approves of me having a project and with me funding it. She insists on me getting out the bike as much as I want including track days and Ring trips etc. She is currently trying to persuade me to Jerez for 3 days with my youngest lad but not going to make that.

Hi Rich, thanks for that and I look forwards to the next email Big smile

I really need to talk to Gabro, Griff (and you of course). I'm just about to get the chip from him (Gabro), to run the Gen 2 engine on the Gen 1 electrics. I'm scratching my head a bit and need to do lots more reading about Ignijet.

Might be harder to find a dyno tuner familiar with it, do you think? Wonder how long til Griff gets the dyno at AP?

Thanks for that link to the thread on the other forum Thumbs Up

Ohhhhh Rick, I was reading this post with interest expecting you to saying you had those lovely carbon wheels on order as well so I could liberate your Oz's from you, oh well , live in hope.
Phil, I challenge anyone who has seen your Duke where it resides in your lovely abode to say it doesn't look at home there, hopefully meet up with you guys again soon, I dare say Adam would be up for a trip out again sometime.      Thumbs Up

You'll be the first to know about the OZ's when it happens buddy Wink

Be great to get Phil busy on the barbie again. He looks great in an apron, reminds me of the Galloping Gourmet. Older viewers may remember him. I can't of course. I'm much younger now. LOL
